Release of the film Ayka at the Ala-Too cinema, centre of the Bishkek, at the beginning was planned from 14.02 to 07.03.2019! After the success of viewing on March 5, 2019, when the screen-hall was very full, the director of the cinema decided to continue the release until March 14, 2019.
Ayka just gave birth.
She can't afford to raise a child.
She has no job, debts to be paid, not even a room of her own.
But there is no way to suppress her natural instincts.

Indian co-production 'Period. End of Sentence' wins an Oscar
Guneet Monga has co-produced Rayka Zehtabchi’s film about fighting the stigma over menstruation.
Indian co-production Period. End of Sentence won the Academy Award in the Best Documentary (Short Subject) category. Directed by Iranian-American filmmaker Rayka Zehtabchi, the film follows the women of Hapur district near Delhi fighting the stigma over menstruation by using a sanitary pad-making machine.
