International short & independent film festival, Dhaka
International short & independent film festival (ISIFF), Dhaka is a biennale film event, which is taking place since 1988.It is one of the oldest festival of short films organized independently in South Asia. Bangladesh Short Film Forum, the pioneer organization of independent Bangladeshi filmmakers are organizing this film festival with a vision to promote the culture of independent and alternative cinema across the region.

Call for entries: MIFA PITCHES 2016 ANIMATION DU MONDE
During the Mifa Pitch sessions*, the Annecy International Animation Film Market also presents animation projects from emerging countries, the object being to show off the sensitivity, creativity and potential of creators from these countries. The work comes from a Call for Projects for all formats: short film, feature film, TV series and transmedia, open to countries with limited production capacity. A creator/animator/filmmaker can send in a project either as a personal/individual piece of work or through a structure set up within his/her country.
