Documentary «ANCIENT NOMADS» made by Marsbek Buzurmankulov
Synopsis. Kyrgyz people who lives in Afghan Pamirs and their life today. They live among the mountains and the mountains is about 4000-5000m. high than Sea level. About 1500 Kyrgyz people live in Afghan little and big Pamirs. They have a new School in “Bozoi Kumboz” (in little Pamir). Children study four and half month in every summer. Even weather is cold, Kyrgyz people in Afghan Pamirs are shepherd people. They have many kind of home animals: Sheep, Yak, Goat, Camel and Horses.

Kinoshock-2013: projects accepted for pitching
The XXII Open Film Festival of CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia “Kinoshock” announces the Fiſth Competition for the best joint feature film project of the Member States of the CIS. The Competition is organized by the Intergovernmental Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS countries and the Open Film Festival of CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia “Kinoshock”. Authors (producers) who have certain experience in film production can take part in the Competition for the best joint feature film project of the
Member States of the CIS. Award winners get 3 (three) cash prizes.
