Регламент МКФ в Иране: The 2ndRouyesh InternationalFilm Festival 2012 REGULATIONS
Article 1: GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2nd Rouyesh International Film Festival will be organised and managed by Hozeh Honari. Entry to the festival implies acceptance of these regulations.
Article 2: DATE AND VENUE
The 2nd Rouyesh International Film Festival will be held in October 2012 in Mashhad, Iran.
Article 3: THE COMPETITION
Rouyesh is a competitive festival
- Animation, fiction & documentary films will be accepted.
-Any visual effect and animation technic can be used. Any technics like 2D cartoon animation, computer aided 3D animation, stop motion animation and/or any optic, chemical, physical, digital interferences on the visual product can be made.
-The product can either include a certain story, characters and dialogs or not. Aesthetics and style can be chosen freely.
Article 4: SCREENING FORMAT
For screening purposes Betacam SP, DV Cam and Mini DV and HD cam is accepted.
Article 5: ENTRY PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE
Deadline for entries is Seotember 1, 2012. The entry form with all the required information and a preview DVD (PAL ) should be sent at the sender’s cost to:

Entry to the festival is FREE OF CHARGE. Please use a separate entry form for each film submitted. The entry form should be accompanied by the following:
1. A synopsis of the film.
2. The biography, filmography and a recent photo of the director.
3. Stills of the film.
4. A listing of the film’s participation and awards received at any other film festivals.
5. Information on whether the film has been exhibited previously.
Article6: CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All films must be available in English or with English subtitles. All films must be Maximum 60 minutes in duration.
All films entered must have been made within the 4-year period 2009 – 2012.
It is your responsibility to obtain all permissions and releases from the persons who appear in the film and who appear in any associated photos/still images. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the right to show the film to a public audience in the festival.
Article7: PREVIEW DVD
Only DVDs in English or with English subtitles or dubbing are acceptable.
Article 8: SELECTION
The Rouyesh selection committee of film specialists will decide which films will participate in the festival. The committee’s decision is final and Successful submissions will be informed before the September 15, 2012. If you have received no communication from Rouyesh by this date then please assume that your film has not been selected for participation in the festival.
Article 9: TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS
Film prints (Beta or DVD tapes) accepted for the festival must arrive at the above address by September 1, 2012. Notification of despatch of the print should be sent in advance.
Film prints sent from all the countries should be accompanied by a pro-forma invoice stating FOR TEMPORARY IMPORTATION ONLY, FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES WITH NO COMMERCIAL VALUE.
- The Festival cannot assume responsibility for any loss or damage to the films during transport.
Article10. RETURN OF FILMS
Rouyesh pays for the cost of returning the film prints. For the period in which the films are in the care of the festival, they are fully insured for their print value. All prints will be returned to the address indicated by the sender within two weeks of the last day of the festival.
Article11: Awards
The 3 Best films (Documentary, animation and fiction) will be selected & awarded by the festival jury. |
