Baktiyar Seitkaziev was born in 1971 in Kyrgyzstan. 
 
He graduated as a linguist, yet served the path from television journalism to cinematograph. He started his career with kicking off a television news service on the Pyramid channel (Bishkek) in 1993. 
 
Mr. Seitkaziev continued with the endure and hard work in production of advertising, musical videos, and documentaries for Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
 
2009 – released his first work, “The Letters From A Far” movie. Budget: 87,000 USD. Toll of DVDs sold: 8,000 copies.
 
2010 – “Zhanym” television serial filmed for the “Khabar” agency (Kazakhstan). 78 episodes, 26 minutes each episode, project lifetime: six months, audience: 6 million viewers.
 
2011 – “Headphones” short movie.
 
Nowadays, is a co-owner of the Tumar Film Company.
