For the first time, the Animation Festival will be launched in Kyrgyzstan on September 13–14, 2025

 

The ToonDook International Animation Festival is announcing a competition this year in two categories:
                        International Short Animated Films
                        Kyrgyz Short Animated Films

 

 

 

The festival is supported by the Embassy of France, the Goethe-Institut, and the Creative Industries Park (CIP). In addition, it collaborates with a number of creative companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Among them are Animation School (Russia), ARA Studio, Tashkyn Studio, Teniz Animation Studio (Kazakhstan), Compass College, Bilimkana, 1.1 Studio (Kyrgyzstan), and others.


The jury consists of six members from Azerbaijan, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Film submissions are accepted via the FilmFreeWay platform.

The festival is organized by Chingiz Asanaliev, head of ToonDook Animation Studio, and Gulay Khalilzade, head of ToonDook Education.


Chingiz Asanaliev has been working in the animation field for over 5 years and has been supporting young animators as a teacher for more than 2 years.


Gulay Khalilzade has over 4 years of professional experience in Human Resources in Azerbaijan and 2 years in Project Management. She is currently working as the head of an animation course in Bishkek.

 

Both organizers collaborated with the ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival in 2024.
