First Bishkek International Film Festival: International competition

 

Place: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Dates: 17-21.11.2023 

Prize: Snow Leopard

 

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov, has signed the Decree “About Measures for the Development of the National Film Industry and Further Improvement of the System of State Support for the Cinematography of the Kyrgyz Republic”. Among the tasks set by the President for cinematographers of the KR is to hold annually a Bishkek IFF.

 

First Bishkek IFF: International competition

 

10 feature ilms will compete in the International competition. The jury consists of Semih Kaplanoglu (Turkey), Philip Cheah (Singapore), Elena Dulgheru (Romania), Park Sung Young (Korea) and Gulsara Azhibekova (Kyrgyzstan).
