On February 1, submission for the XX Kazan International Muslim Film Festival started. The submission will last till June 1, 2024. The Selection Committee will finish its work by the beginning of July. After this, the official selection will be announced.

The Central Asia - Korea Meeting On Cultural Recourse Coolaboration

 

Letter of Agreement

 
Dear Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
 
The presenter, who hereby has signed and sealed this letter of agreement, confirms and agrees to the following items in regard to the submission of 2011 Korean-Central Asian Creative Scenario Awards (referred to as "Awards" hereafter in this letter of agreement).
 
1. I have fully recognized and understood the terms and contents of the Awards by reading this letter of agreement and application guidelines as presented on the webpage (asiastoryroad.co.kr), and in accordance with such terms and contents, hereby submit the scenario.
 
2. I state and confirm the following clauses in connection with my entry.
 (1) I am the sole and exclusive copyright holder (or joint copyright holder) of the scenario and have not infringed any third party's intellectual property rights. If a corporate body is the presenter of such scenario then the corporate body confirms the scenario is a work of organizational copyright.
 (2) The submitted scenario has not infringed any intellectual property rights including but not limited to copyright of any third parties and due to such act of the presenter should any conflict occur, the presenter (or any collaborators, joint copyright holders) takes full responsibility and resolves the matter indemnifying the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and all its related government departments in Central Asia (referred to as "Korean-Central Asian Culture Departments" hereafter in this letter of agreement).
 
3. The presenter satisfies the conditions of the following clauses and agrees to be revoked of winning the award should the presenter not satisfy such conditions.
 (1) The submitted scenario is not a work awarded from any other awards. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has the right to revoke the award at its sole discretion should it find the scenario has been awarded at any other awards.
 (2) The submitted scenario is not a work of infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights including but not limited to the acts of plagiarism, imitation and dramatization. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has the right to revoke the award at its sole discretion should it find the scenario is of such work resulting in any conflict and cannot fulfill the purpose of the Awards.
 (3) The submitted scenario is not set a limit or regulated its copyright or other intellectual property rights in connection with sale or contract to any production company. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and tourism has the right to revoke the award at its sole discretion should it find the scenario is of such work.
 (4) The submitted scenario does not limit the purpose of the Awards in proportion to clauses from (1) to (3).  The Ministry of Culture, Sports and tourism has the right to revoke the award
 
at its sole discretion should it find the scenario is of such work.
 (5) In proportion to clauses from (1) to (4) should there be grounds for such revoke or cancellation of the awards the committee can notify the presenter in written form or via electronic mail and should the presenter fail to resolve the issue during the time period of seven (7) days after such notification from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea the award is revoked and the presenter is obligated to return any and all reward in connection with the Awards to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism without delay.
 
4. The presenter confirms and agrees to the following should the presenter's scenario be awarded.
 (1) The copyright of the scenario belongs to the presenter. However the presenter agrees to grant exclusive rights of performance, media production and publication to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea for ten (10) years starting from the day of the awards and the committee has the right to perform, produce or publish directly or through any other third party.
 (2) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea has the right to reproduce any performance, media production and publication based on the awarded scenario in proportion to clause (1) and can also reproduce such materials through any other third party.
 (3) Upon being awarded the submitted scenario or original story is regarded to be fully paid for writing and without the prior written consent from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea the presenter cannot demand any additional payment to any third party including but not limited to any production company. Should the presenter demand any additional payment and such payment is made the additional payment cannot exceed the total amount of the reward and the exceeding amount should be returned to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea. However should the awarded scenario be a serial work to be required additional scenarios, scripts, or work of any kind the presenter can enter into a separate agreement with the production company or any third party and demand additional payment.
 (4) The presenter is obligated to actively participate in request of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the person appointed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the process of performance, media production or publication until completion of such process should the presenter's scenario be awarded and any act of process for performance, media production or publication be the case. Should the presenter fail to do this the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has the right to revoke the award and the provision of article 3 clause (5) shall apply in this case.
 (5) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea or the person appointed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has the right to employ any other employees including but not limited to writers and dramatizers upon the process of performance, media production or publication of the awarded scenario. In the event of such case violation of human rights including but not limited to defamation of character is strictly forbidden.
 (6) The presenter has the right to claim for damages but cannot file lawsuit of integrity including but not limited to injunction should there be conflict with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the person appointed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the process of performance, media production or publication in connection with the scenario.
 (7) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has the right to produce, reproduce and distribute the awarded scenarios within reasonable limits for promotional, distributional (distribution to contents makers and not for sale) or educational purposes.
