Home Coming (Chinese: 万里归途) is a 2022 Chinese drama film directed by Rao Xiaozhi and starring Zhang Yi, Wang Junkai and Yin Tao. The film picks up the story of two unarmed Chinese diplomats delving into a rebel force-controlled area in the war-wrecked Republic of Numea to lead 125 Chinese citizens safely back to China. The film premiered in China on 30 September 2022. Zhang Yi as Zong Dawei. Wang Junkai as Cheng Lang. Yin Tao as Bai Hua. Wang Xun as Liu Minghui. Li Xuejian as the Chinese ambassador.

The film is based on real stories from the life of paralympians, as well as Alexander Kolyadin– the first champion of the Winter Paralympic Games in the history of Kazakhstan, who won the 1.5 km sprint in PyeongChang in 2018.

 

 

Best female actress: Rano Shodiyeva, Fate of Woman, Uzbekistan:

 

The ‘Ayol Qismati’ ('The Fate of a Woman') feature film directed by Dilmurod Masaidov depicts real events happening in the life of Sojida, one of nearly one hundred other women, who returned from Syria as part of the Mehr humanitarian operation conducted by presidential order in 2019-2020.

Special jury mention: Fortune, Tadjikistan:

Special jury mention: The Road To Eden, Kyrgyzstan: "For the message of hope and warning about the risk of losing ciltural value in turbulent times".

 

Made by Bakyt Mukul & Dastan Zhapar Uulu. The main character of the film Kubat Aliev is an outstanding and retired writer, a widower living alone in his flat. One day, Kubat reveals that his friend is sick. He sells his flat in order to pay for his friend’s treatment but at the same time, his younger brother is beaten by the collector for the debts. Kubat should then choose whom to help, to his brother or to the writer friend.
