The winners of the Nomadic Image 2022 Film Festival
Festival: The Nomadic Image 2022 Film Festival by the University of Central Asia’s School of Arts and Sciences Dates: 22.09-23.09.2022 Place: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
Organised on Naryn Campus, the Festival had submissions from several filmmakers from across Kyrgyzstan and around the world.
1. The Best Film Award (500 USD) goes to the team of Dastan Borkoshev & Danysh Akylbekov for a mind blowing piece of art - The Death of a Nomad
2. Best Visual Solution (300 USD) goes to the group of Nurlan Temirbek Uulu, Bekzat Turatbek Uulu, Adilet Baktybekov, Erzhan Arakeev and Karash Zhanyshov for their brilliant film - Alaman
3. Jury Prize (200 USD) goes to the Aziza Khalbekova for her wonderful film - The Horse Master

Jury: the well-known film critic - Gulbara Tolomushova, the winner of various international film festivals - Asel Zhuraeva, Associate Dean of UCA's School of Arts & Sciences - Dr Soheil Ashrafi, a writer, artist, podcast producer and documentary filmmaker - Dr Michael Garbutt, and Lecturer at UCA - Nursultan Stanaliev.
