Chingiz Aitmatov’s memorial evening
It will be on the June 7, 2011 at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
There will be many events devoting to the memory of the famous writer: book’s exhibition – the Institute of the Language and Literature by the name of Chingiz Aitmatov of The Academy collected wide library with version of his works translated into 70 world languages. By the way his books were translated into 170 world languages.
Mr. Aitmatov had a great contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz national cinematography: all his works were screened.
Chingiz Aitmatov died on the June 10, 2008.
