«The light thief» of Aktan Arym Kubat has nominated for a prize «Nika»

 

«The light thief» of Aktan Arym Kubat has nominated for a prize «Nika» in nomination «The best film of CIS and Baltic countries», a vice-chairman of Filmmaker Union Conference of CIS and Baltic countries Konstantin Sherbakov said.
 
In direction of «Nika» regulation the Conference can offer for the competition just four films, produced in 2010.
 
From 14 movies called for the competition was chosen following:
 
Azerbaijan
«By ghosts eyes» of Rustam Ibragimbekov
 
Armenia
«The border» of Arutyn Hachatryan
 
Latvia
«Family matters» of Andris Gauya
 
Kyrgyzstan
«The light thief» of Aktan Arym Kubat
 
In February film «The light thief» was screened in Switzerland. Swiss film expert An Cha Flubaher-Rim saw the film in Basel. The film is running in Basel since few days.
 
«When I saw Aktan Arym Kubat playing in this film as an actor I was deeply touched and moved. Naturally all memories of my trip to your country flushed back and realized again how much I enjoyed being with you and your film people, including director Aktan Arym Kubat. I am glad that he could finishfinally the new film. It is a wonderful film which I appreciated very much indeed. I wish director a good success internationally from my bottom of the heart», An Cha said.
