17th November, 1941 is a birthday of Kyrgyz Cinema. This day National Commissars Union of Kirgiz USS got decree about organization of news film studio in Frunze city.
On it issues of film magazine Soviet Kirgizia were making. However the first magazine which was made on own production base got out only in the beginning of 1943.
In 1955 the first feature film was got out. It was film «Saltanat».
Today is a 69th anniversary of Kyrgyz Cinema.
