Week of European Cinema has finished in Bishkek
Yesterday (November, 14, 2010) the IV Film Festival of European Cinema in Bishkek has finished at the metropolitan Cinema House.
Citizens and capital guests can see at the festivals short ant full-length films from Germany, France, Spain and Kyrgyzstan.
At the closing ceremony German director Hans-Erik tells about a work of Art workshop, which he is heading during the festival for Kyrgyz directors. After that a few students’ short films making on his master-classes were screening.
Festival jury consist of Kyrgyz film expert Gulbara Tolomushova, Simon Reihgrubber – cultural questions attaché of German Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic, Pier Ledis – cooperation and culture attaché of France Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic; professor Alexandra Blindel (Spain) and Honorable consulate of Spain in Kyrgyz Republic, German director Hans-Erik and German director of photography Tomas Keller.
In competition the films of Kyrgyz directors take part only. From 10 Kyrgyz short films the Grant Prize get a film «Circles on the send» by Nayzabek Sydykov.
This film is about difficult relations between two brothers.
All participants get festival diploma. Evening was closed by screening of European short films.
