Born in December, 6 1981 Nurzhamal Damir has spent her childhood between the capital of the country Bishkek and the southern province Dzhalal-Abad.

 In 1999 upon completion of secondary school in Bishkek has entered Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University majoring in International Journalism. In 2002 transfered to Truman State University in the United States of America and two years later graduated with B.S. degree in Accounting. From 2005 to 2011 worked at the World Bank Country Office assisting with projects in Agriculture, Environment and Ecology and Sustainable Development. In spring of 2011 has participated in the master class of Mr. Ernest Abdyzhaparov, director. In 2013 shot first short film Oguz Ayal of 18 minutes in duration. In 2013 and 2014 participated in producers workshop organized by Cinema Development Fund.  Collaborates with another Kyrgyz director Mr. Alizhan Nasyrov as a producer. In February to August 2015 studied in the Kyrgyz Film School taught by Mr. Marat Sarulu, director. In January 2016 completed her diploma work Frunze, 18 minutes feature film.
