Yesterday (08.11.2010) the IV Film Festival of European Cinema in Bishkek has opened at the metropolitan Cinema House.
Festival organizers are Kyrgyz film expert Gulbara Tolomushova, Simon Reihgrubber – cultural questions attaché of German Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic, Pier Ledis – cooperation and culture attaché of France Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic; professor Alexandra Blindel (Spain) and Honorable consulate of Spain in Kyrgyz Republic; Kyrgyz-Turkish university «Manas», Swiss Cooperation and Development Office in Kyrgyz Republic, В’Art Center.
Two films were screening on festival opening. One of them was short film «Trolleybus» by Kyrgyz director Ernest Abdyjaparov about the men who falls in love with beautiful girl through the trolleybus window. The other one was film by Fatih Akin «On an edge of paradise». It’s a full-length co-operative film of Germany-Turkey-Italy about six parallel destinies.
Evening was finished by stand-up meal and concert of European music.
