Good news about The Way To Mecca
The Way to Mecca will be screening in the Aga Khan Museum's inaugural film season (January-April 2015).
This short documentary will be screening at the Museum on February 4, 2015, at 9 pm.
The Way To Mecca: Synopsis. The film is about the inhabitatnt of Alga small village in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan - a 80-year old Sulaiman Turdubaev. He has been dreaming of going to Hajj to Mecca for many years and has been saving the money. So, when he got enough money for this lonf journey, he suddenly decides to restore an old monuments in his village, deducated to soldiers who died during the II. World War. And all of his savings are spent for it.
