New York Eurasian Film Festival intends to discover contemporary Eurasian cinema, to restore and to create a new cinematic culture in response to the rapid changes in media seen in the 21^st century. NYEFF present: the international competition section to find potential cinema artist and discover new films to be classic in the fiture.

"Kurmanjan Datka - Queen of the Mountains" received four prizes: Best film, Best actress, Best supporting actress, Best Screenplay.

"Herding" - Best short fiction.

"The Move" - Best director.

Also the festival's directors had given the prize for the contribution to the development of the festival to Mr. Aibek Hakimov, Head of the Kyrgyz Club.
