IV International Film Festival «Eurasia» will take place in Almty, Kazakhstan
IV International Film Festival «Eurasia» will take place between 21 - 25 September, 2010 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is going to show about 40 films which are divided into four groups: Developing Kazakh Cinema, French cinema today, Gala-premier of world cinema, International competition. Kyrgyzstan is presenting film by Aktan Arym Kubat «The light thief» and «Woman at the stirrup» by Tynay Ibragimov in the international competition.
Prizes of festival is statuette, money prize as well as prize for Best director, Best male and female role.
At first this festival took place in 1998. Every year more than 130 filmmakers from Europe, Asia, USA, CIS and Baltic States participate in Eurasia festival.
