 Documentaries made by directors from Africa, Asia and Latin America (minimum running time 60 mins) Prize € 6.000
Best African Film
Fiction films from the most recent African production (minimum running time 60 mins.) 
Prize € 7.500
Best African Short Film
Short films (fiction and documentary) only by African directors (maximum running time 59 mins) Prize  € 5.000
EXTR’A
Films (fiction and documentary) made by Italian directors in Africa, Asia and Latin America or dealing with themes linked to immigration and integration in Italy. Prize to be confirmed

Parallel Sections
And everybody laughs... The funniest comedies of the year from Africa, Asia and Latin America
FTS – Films That Feed. The section dedicated to EXPO 2015 – Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life. Films (fictions and documentaries) dealing with food and environmental sustainability to promote three continents’ best practices.
Non-competitive section: Films (fictions and documentaries) about Africa, Asia and Latin America made by directors who are not from these continents.

For the competitive sections can be submitted only film produced in 2013 and 2014, for the parallel sections from 2012 to 2014. The awards can vary.

How to apply:

1. Complete the entry form on line at www.festivalcinemaafricano.org
2. Send the DVD (with English or French subtitles) no later than  the 18th of January 2014 to:
