XIV Forum of National Cinematographs of CIS and Baltic states finished in Russia. It took place in the network of VIII Moscow festival of domestic cinema «Moscow premier» (August,27 - September,4).
On this forum were shown new films of post soviet space directors. Kyrgyzstan was presented by film «The light thief» of Aktan Arym Kubat.
«The light thief» was highly appreciated by following experts: Elena Stishova (Russia), Vida Jonson (USA), Alla Bobkova (Byelorussia), Uzbek director Ali Hamraev and others. Director of movie Aktan A. Kubat has got a Diploma from Moscow House of nations For cultural dialog contribution and understanding between nations. Diploma was established by Committee of interregional connection and national politics of Moscow Government.
Most people of audience noticed that Aktan Arym Kubat movie remind them the best Italian films of neorealism period.
