Call for applications for the Baku International Tourizm Film Festival
Baku International Tourism Film Festival (“BITFF” or the Festival) – is non-profit cultural event that will takes place in autumn of 2013 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The festival also aims to draw attention to the tourism potential of Azerbaijan as one of the international centers of the historical and cultural heritage.
The film must meet one of the following categories to particpate in the festival:
Cultural Tourism
Nature tourism and ecotourism
Commercial tourism
Sport tourism
Marine tourism and Water Activities
Tours and Expeditions.
The official languages of the festival are Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
There is no restriction on the length of films for the competition program.
No payment for the apply will be charged.
Movies will be apprised by the international juries consisting of cinematographers, and also travel and tourism experts.
In addition to competitive and non-competitive program BITFF includes seminars, discussions and exchange of experience among filmmakers, experts in tourism and the media.
BITFF is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic.
