1. ORGANIZERS OF THE FESTIVAL:

The human rights movement "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" (Human rights center “Citizens against corruption”)

2. TIME AND PLACE:

The Festival is planned to be held on September 18-24, 2013 in Bishkek in one of the Cinema theaters and in five regions of the country. Then Fest will be continued in Dushanbe and Hudjent in Tajikistan for about 5 days.

3. MAIN THEME OF THE FESTIVAL "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan-2013":

The right of citizens for peaceful meeting and association.
The right of citizens for self-expression.

4. OBJECTIVE OF THE FESTIVAL:    

Main objective: to increase awareness and legal awareness of citizens in the field of labor migration and human rights violations, through documentary films about human rights

5. PARTICIPANTS:

6. APPLICATION SUBMISSION:

Only films consistent with the concept of the festival will be accepted:
- Films devoted to the problems of labor migrant,
- Films about human rights, women, children, youth
Only documentary films’ production completed 2012-2013 will be accepted.

To participate in the selection the following must be submitted:

1. Application form;

2. Two copies of the film in DVD format;

3. Photo of the film-maker and shot from the film in electronic form (on disk in JPEG format), a brief worksheet and filmography (in electronic form) for inclusion in the festival catalog.

4. Applications are accepted from April 5 to May 31, 2013.
