“The revival of the Tashkent International Film festival ‘The Silk Road Pearl’ was first announced on December 29, 2020 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoev, in his annual Address to the Oliy Majlis. ‘The Silk Road Pearl’ is an innovative platform for the exchange of experience with international colleagues and a grandiose film marathon that promises to be the cultural breakthrough of the year. Tashkent International Film festival ‘The Silk Road Pearl’ will be held under the slogan ‘For Peace, Enlightenment and Progress!’
